Aims and Scope

Transactions Issue Mathematics. National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences (Trans. Natl. Acad. Sci. Azerb. Ser. Phys.-Tech. Math. Sci. Mathematics) is an open access journal that publishes original, high quality research papers in all fields of mathematics. A special attention is paid to the following fields: real and complex analysis, harmonic analysis, functional analysis, approximation theory, differential equations, calculus of variations and optimal control, differential geometry, algebra, number theory, probability theory and mathematical statistics, mathematical physics.

Transactions Issue Mathematics. National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences is the continuation of the IZVESTIYA AKADEMII NAUK AZERBAIDZHANSKOI SSR SERIYA FIZIKO-TEKHNICHESKIKH I MATEMATICHESKIKH NAUK founded in 1960. From 1999 until 2014, the journal was published by titled Transactions of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences. Under this new name the journal was relaunched in May 2015 to reflect the increase of its standards and broadening of its coverage in the field of mathematics.

Trans. Natl. Acad. Sci. Azerb. Ser. Phys.-Tech. Math. Sci. Mathematics welcomes papers that establish interesting and important new results or solve significant problems. All papers are refereed for correctness and suitability for publication. The journal is published in both print and online versions. The online version is available on an Open Access basis at http://trans.imm.az.

The journal is indexed in SCOPUS, Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH and Math-net.ru.
