Information for Authors

Terms of Submission

The Transactions Issue Mathematics. National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences publishes research papers up to 16 pages in length and survey papers requested by the editorial board. Research papers exceeding this page limit should be pre-agreed with the editorial board. By submitting a manuscript, the author acknowledges that it is original and not under simultaneous consideration by any other journal. Papers should be written in English. Manuscripts should be submitted by email as PDF files to [email protected]. Please keep the tex file that corresponds to the PDF version. If your paper is accepted, we will require the tex file. Please do not send the tex file at the time of submission.

Article processing charges

The publication costs for Transactions Issue Mathematics. National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences are covered by the journal, so authors do not need to pay an article-processing and submission charges. The PDF copies of accepted papers are free of charges and can be downloaded from the website. Hard copies of the paper, if required, are due to be charged for the amount of which is determined by the administration each year.

Preparing a manuscript for submission

The manuscript file must be prepared according to the journal's LaTeX class fille or sample file, which can be downloaded at http://trans.imm.az.

Manuscripts written in a different LaTeX typesetting system will not be accepted for consideration.

Title Page

The title page should contain the title of the paper, full names of the authors, affiliations addresses and e-mail addresses of all authors. Please indicate the corresponding author. Each manuscript should be accompanied by classification numbers from the Mathematics Subject Classification 2020 scheme.

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research. The length of the Abstract should be between 60 to 2000 characters. At least 3 keywords are required.

Math Formulae

Formulas should be numbered consecutively in the parentheses ( ).

Tables

All tables must have numbers (TABLE 1) consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text and a legend above the table. Please submit tables as editable text not as images.

Figures

All figures must have numbers (FIGURE 1) consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text and a caption (not on the figure itself) below the figure. Please submit figures as EPS, TIFF or JPEG format.

Peer Review

A manuscript will be considered by an editor and, if it is judged appropriate for the journal, the editors will handle the peer review process. Papers are sent to two or three referees for evaluation. The final decision on publication is made by the editorial board.

Author Contribution Statements, Declaration of Competing Interests, Acknowledgements

Author Contribution Statements, Declaration of Competing Interests and Acknowledgements should be given at the end of the article before the references.

References

References should be listed in alphabetical order and all entries in the reference list must be cited in the text. Titles of periodicals should be abbreviated in accordance with "Mathematical Reviews". The following are sample references:

1. Stempak, K.: Almost everywhere summability of Laguerre series, Studia Math. 100 (2), 129-147 (1991).

2. Stein, E.M.: Singular integrals and differentiablity properties of functions, Princeton Universty Press (1970).

Copy Editing and Proofs

Transactions Issue Mathematics. National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Series of Physical-Technical and Mathematical Sciences will copy edit the manuscript to make it suitable for final publication. Authors are requested to prepare the manuscript carefully before submitting it for publication to minimize corrections in the proof stage. The proofs sent to the corresponding author must be returned to the editors within three days of their receipt.

Publication

A paper is considered published when it appears online in the journal's Articles in Press section. The paper remains accessible in the Articles in Press section until it is included in a print issue of the journal.

Print Issue

When a paper is included in a print issue, the version available in Articles in Press section is updated to include the final citation details. These details are volume/issue number, publication year and page numbers. The paper moves on the journal's web site from the Articles in Press area into the appropriate volume and issue in the Volumes section.

Publication on an Open Access basis means that authors retain the copyrights of their papers. All open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, provided that the original work is properly cited.
